신자유주의 세계화에 대한 지역화 대안은 금융세계화뿐 아니라 다국적기업과 자 유무역이 세계의 민중들에게 미치는 영향에 강조하고, 노동뿐만 아니라 환경과 지 역의 문제를 해결하려 시도한다는 점에서 중요한 의의를 가진다. 하지만 이 이론은 신자유주의 세계화의 문제를 주로 기업 규모의 문제로 파악하며 자본주의와 자본 자체의 문제라는 인식을 결여하고 있다는 근본적인 한계성을 가진다.
Abstract
Economic Localist Alternative to Neo-liberal Globalization has a merit to emphasize the effects of not only liberal finance, but also of liberal trade and international corporations on the peoples in world and to try to resolve the problems which not only laborers but also ecology and local communities face. But it see the problems of Neo-liberal globalization primarily as problems of large corporations, thus having limits not to understand that those problems are of capitalism and capital as such.
