Abstract

In the Rehe Diary（热河日记）, Park Ji-won recorded in detail the social culture of the Qing Dynasty and his communication with people of all classes and academic discussions according to the time sequence of his journey, which truly showed the features of the Qing Dynasty society from the perspective of an other. One of them, "The Record of Forgetting Sheep", recorded the exchange of his views on music and music between the two countries with Yin Jiaquan, Wang Minhao literati in the Qing Dynasty. Yin Jiaquan steamed a sheep to entertain Park Ziyuan, but because the three people were immersed in the joy of conversation, they forgot the steamed sheep, and Park Ji-won in memory of this unforgettable wonderful conversation with foreign friends, solid name "The Record of Forgetting Sheep".In this article , the three men discuss their opinions on music, which involves the views of ancient music theory in China and South Korea. Park Ji-won 's thirst for knowledge and positive thinking about music are also important materials for studying his thoughts on the development of music. However, for a long time, the academic research on Park Ji-won and Rehe Diary has focused more on other aspects of Park Ji-won's Northern learning thoughts. Therefore, the author here should explore the inheritance of Park Ji-won 's music theory to the Northern learning thoughts through the analysis of the content of "The Record of Forgetting Sheep" in Rehe Diary. It can provide a new perspective for future scholars to study and analyze Park 's practical thoughts and a new thinking direction for the study of Chinese and Korean music at that time.
