燕巖의『熱河日記』筆談內容에 대한 일고찰

Abstract

This thesis is to study the conversation by writing(筆談) in Yonam, Ji-Won Park(燕巖 朴趾源)’s Yolha Diary(熱河日記). Through confirming the quantity of the conversation by writing, I rate high its importance and significance. in this thesis I make an observation of friendship between Yonam and the literary men of Qing dynasty. And examined the performances of the society reality on Qing dynasty by Yonam’s observation. I examined the concrete the performances of the conversation by writing with Yonam and Chinese men of society. It seemed that one of the most important achievements which made through the conversation by writing is a continued development of intellectual interchange between Korean and Chinese. We can analyze to be subdivided into the course of ‘intellectual exports’ and ‘intellectual imports’ again. Yonam’ continued efforts as a program director can get performances many intellectual interchanges. Yonam formed deep friendship with Chinese illustrious intellects who share the seats with conversation by writing. It can be obtained good result of people diplomacy which is improved the image of Chosun in this course. I analyzed in the concrete that the performances of perfect-real situation in The Ching Empire, several social problem and Chinese emperor’ law of ruling a country, general situation in The Ching Empire, etc. which Yonam found through conversation by writing.
