杜詩 속에 나타난 생명존중의식 연구

두보가 인도주의 정신과 생명존중 사상을 지니고 있었던 것은 그가 ‘詩聖’이라는 칭호로 불리게 되는 하나의 중요한 요인이 되었다. 두보는 대자연에 대한 생명 존중의 사상에서 출발하여 인생에 대한 의미와 존중을 찾았다고도 할 수 있다. 두보는 생명의 신비와 위대함에 대해 일찍부터 관심을 가지고 있었으며 한평생 생명의 근원에 대한 탐구를 멈추지 않았다. 그는 생활 속에서의 경험과 생명에 대한 구체적인 탐구를 통해 생명의 가치를 깨달았고, 이를 사람과 자연 미물의 생명에 대한 소중함을 노래하는 것으로 표현해 내었다. 과학이 고도로 발달화된 사회 속에서 인간에 대한 존중이 점점 희미해져가는 풍조가 존재하는 현실 속에서 인간미를 회복하고 이를 바탕으로 만물의 생명을 존중하는 일이 어느 때보다 중요한 시점이 되었다고 생각한다. 본 연구도 이에 부응하여 두보시 연구의 기존 방법에서 좀 확장하여 시가 본연의 내용을 연구 분석함과 동시에 이를 현대에 수용하고 문제 해결의 길잡이로 삼고자 하였다. 그래서 두보시 중에 인도주의를 드러내고 있는 작품과 인간이 아닌 사물에 대한 애정을 노래한 작품을 주요 분석의 대상으로 삼아 그 속에 담겨있는 두보의 생명 존중의식을 고찰해 보고자 한 것이다. 이는 두보시 자체만을 연구 분석하던 기존의 연구 방법론에서 벗어나 그 작품 저변에 깔려있는 사상적 기반의 분석을 통해 작품이 가지고 있는 더욱 심오하고 감동적인 의미를 드러냄으로써 현대의 삶 속에서도 위로와 교훈을 얻고자 하는 의미가 본 연구 속에 담겨 있다.
Abstract
Dubu(杜甫)’s humanitarian spirit and respect for life were one of the important factors that led him to be called ‘Holy Poetry(詩聖)’. It can be said that Dubu found meaning and respect for life, starting from the idea of respecting life for Mother Nature. Dubu was interested in the mystery and greatness of life from an early age, and he never stopped exploring the source of life for the rest of his life. He realized the value of life through his experiences in life and detailed exploration of life, and he sang the preciousness of human life through this, and this led to his love for natural beauty. I think that it is more important than ever to restore and respect humanity in a reality in which respect for human beings is gradually fading in a society in which science is highly developed. In response to this, this study was also expanded from the existing method of research on Dubu’s poetry to study and analyze the original content of poetry, and at the same time to accept it in the modern age and use it as a guide to solving problems. Therefore, I tried to examine Dubu’s sense of respect for life contained in Dubu’s poetry by using works that reveal humanitarianism and works that sing love for non-human objects as the main objects of analysis. This is an attempt to reveal a deeper and more moving meaning of the work through the analysis of the ideological basis underlying the work, breaking away from the existing research methodology of researching and analyzing only the poem itself. Through this, the meaning of seeking comfort and lessons in modern life is contained in this study.
