이 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 IT 혁명의 성숙에 따른 차세대 정보기술의 진화와 새로운 국가정보화의 방향을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 IT를 바라보는 관점을 인간과 IT, 사물과 IT, 공간과 IT의 관점에서 그 발전방향을 고찰함으로써‘만물지능통신’이라는 새로운 개념을 도출하였다. 이 논문의 연구목적은 만물지능통신을 기반으로 국가정보화의 방향을 설정하고 만물지능통신의 발전단계와 기본전략을 제시하는데 있다. 만물지능통신기반의 새로운 국가정보화 구상으로서‘Super IT Korea’를 제안하였다. 그리고 동 구상의 실현을 위해 만물지능통신망(Super IT Network)구축, 만물지능통신산업(Super IT Industry)육성, 만물지능인프라(Super IT Infrastructure)로의 발전, IT 역량 극대화 리더십(Super IT Leadership)의 발휘를 4대 기본전략으로 제시하였다.
Abstract
This paper explores the future directions for the evolution of information technologies and new national informatization strategies that are in line with the current and projected state-of-the-art ubiquitous computing. The study examines the relationship between information technology and humans, objects, and spaces, and also proposes new approach to informatization, baptized as "all things on the network." The main purpose of this study is to point out both the large directions and a concrete blueprint and strategies for national informatization, corresponding to the new paradigm of informatization proposed by these researchers. To realize "Super IT Korea" that is the new vision of national informatization, four strategies are laid down: constructing the "Super IT Network", fostering the "Super IT Industry", upgrading the existing infrastructure to the "Super IT Infrastructure", and building the "Super IT Leadership", required to maximize IT capabilities.
