IT융합기술의 발달로 인해 최근 급격히 부상하고 있는 사물인터넷과 같은 만물지능화 환경의 구현은 프라이버시 침해의 위험성이 매우 클 것으로 예측되고 있으며, 미래정보화 사회를 위협하는 위기 요인이 될 가능성이 높다. 이 논문에서는 먼저 최근 등장하고 있는 만물 지능화 환경의 특성을 살펴보고 이러한 환경과 프라이버시 문제와의 관련성을 검토하고자 하였다. 이 논문에서는 만물지능화 환경 하에서 프라이버시의 개념과 차원은 어떻게 정의 될 수 있으며, 만물이 지능화되는 환경 하에서의 프라이버시 정보 침해 유형과 침해의 특성이 무엇인지를 살펴보았다. 또한, 만물지능화 환경 하에서의 프라이버시 침해의 위험성과 이슈를 검토하고, 여기에 대한 대응전략으로서 프라이버시 보호를 위한 거버넌스 체계의 확립방향을 제시하였다. 한국적 만물지능화 환경 하에서 프라이버시 위기에 대응해 나가기 위한 거버넌스 확립의 기본방향으로는 프라이버시 보호 윤리의식의 제고, 프라이버시 보호 가이드라인의 정비, 사회적 감시와 프라이버시 보호의 균형, 만물지능화를 활용한 프라이버시 보호 시스템의 개발과 구현, 그리고 식별되지 않을 권리로서의 프라이버시 개념 강화와 기술적 방안으로서 익명성 확보를 제시하였다.
Abstract
It seems that ICT paradigms are standing on the brink of a new internet era, 'Internet of Things', that will radically evolve to the world of Intelligent All-Things. The concept of the Intelligent All-Things will entail the connection of real world myriad things and intelligent devices to all kinds of networks. Building the new world, Intelligent All-Things, however, will pose a important challenges. Concerns over privacy on the Intelligent All-Things Environment are newly emerged and widespread. The aim of this study is to explore the relationships between Intelligent All-Things environment and privacy problem. And this paper explore the new dimensions and issues of the privacy challenges on the Intelligent All-Things environment, and suggest the governance for the privacy protection.
