현재 인터넷 주소체계인 IPv4 주소가 고갈됨에 따라 IPv6 주소로의 이전이 진행되고 있다. 새로운 인터넷 주소체 계에서 인터넷 웜의 확산은 현재의 확산과 다른 양상을 띄게 될 것으로 예상된다. 본 논문은 IPv6 환경에서 예상되는 웜 확산에 대한 정확한 모델링을 그 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 새로운 윔 확산 모델을 제안하고 IPv6 환경의 다양한 요인 을 고려한 웜 확산을 실험한 후 이에 대한 대응방안을 모색한다.
Abstract
As the IPv4-based Internet addresses are almost exhausted, there are various migrations to IPv6 networks. We expect the behaviors of Internet worms on IPv6 will differ from IPv4 networks in many respects. In this paper, we intend to accurately describe the spread of Internet worms on IPv6 networks. Therefore we propose a new scheme and analyze the worm spreading effects by various simulations. The results lead to a better prediction of the scale and speed of Internet worm spreading on IPv6 environments.
