청소년의 심리기제에 미치는 인지양식의 매개적 조절효과: 불안, 모-자녀 의사소통, 방어기제 간 관계를 중심으로

본 연구는 인지양식의 매개적 조절효과를 알아보기 위해서 전체집단, 성별 집단, 인지양식별 집단으로 각기 구분하여 청소년의 불안, 모-자녀 의사소통, 방어기제 간 관계모형을 비교 검증하였다. 이를 위해 남ㆍ여 중학생 460명을 대상으로 자기보고식 설문지에 의한 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 14.0과 AMOS 4.0을 이용하여 신뢰도 분석, 교차분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석, 공분산구조모형 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 집단 구분을 하지 않은 전체집단에서는 부분매개 모형이 적합하였고 유의한 매개효과를 나타냈다. 둘째, 남ㆍ여 성별을 기준으로 집단을 구분했을 경우, 남학생 집단과 여학생 집단 모두 부분매개 모형이 적합하였고, 매개효과 역시 유의하였다. 셋째, 장독립-장의존 인지양식을 기준으로 집단을 구분했을 경우, 장독립 집단에서는 모-자녀 의사소통에 의한 매개 경로가 유의하지 않았고 일방경로만이 유의한 반면, 장의존 집단에서는 모-자녀 의사소통에 의한 완전 매개 모형이 적합하였고, 완전매개 효과 역시 유의하였다. 즉, 집단을 구분하지 않은 전체집단과 성별에 의해 집단을 구분한 남학생집단과 여학생 집단은 모두 동일한 부분매개모형 구조를 나타냈으나, 인지양식에 의한 집단구분에서는 장독립 -장의존 집단 간 모형의 구조가 현저히 다르게 나타났다. 이는 불안, 모-자녀 의사소통, 방어기제 간 관계에서 성별보다는 인지양식에 의해 매개관계가 조절되므로, 인지양식이 매개적 조절변인으로 작용함을 시사한다. 이러한 결과는 청소년이나 그 환경을 대상으로 불안과 방어기제에 의한 심리적, 행동적 문제에 대한 예방이나 개입 중재를 할 경우, 성별에 따른 개입보다는 청소년의 인지양식의 특성을 고려한 예방이나 개입을 차별적으로 실시하는 것이 더 효과적일 수 있음을 논의하고 추후 연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to test the moderated mediation effect of cognitive style to adolescents' psychological mechanism about relation model of adolescents' trait-anxiety, mother-child communication style and defense mechanism. This study was to examine the relation model of adolescents' trait-anxiety, mother-child communication style, and defense mechanism according to total, gender and cognitive style. Four-hundred sixty middle school students (male: 253, female: 207) participated in this study. Covariance structural modeling (CSM) analysis was conducted by AMOS in order to test relation models among trait-anxiety, mother-child communication style, and defense mechanism. The results of this study were summarized as follows. First, the partial mediation model by mother-child communication style fit better than the complete mediation model between anxiety and defense mechanism in the total, not divided group. Second, the partial mediation model by mother-child communication style fit better than the complete mediation model between anxiety and defense mechanism the male group, the female group. divided by gender. Third, the straight model fit better than mediation model in the field-independent group; however, the complete mediation model fit better in the field-dependent group and the mediation effect of mother-child communication style was significant. The results of this study implied that the field-independent/dependent cognitive style play a role as moderated mediation variable in the mediation model, in which the relation between trait-anxiety and defense mechanism is mediated by mother-child communication style. Finally, the limitations of this study and the suggestions for further research were discussed. complete.
