대학수학능력시험 준비과정에서의 학교의존도 결정요인

이 연구는 고등학교 2학년 학생들을 대상으로 대학수학능력시험 준비과정에서 학교에 의존하는 정도에 영향을 주는 요인이 무엇인가를 분석하였다. 다층회귀분석 결과, 부모의 사회경제적 수준(SES), 학생성적, 학생의 희망대학수준 변인은 학교의존도에 부적으로 영향을 주었다. 학교가 서울이나 수도권에 위치할수록, 학교 인근의 입시학원 수가 많을수록 학교의존도는 낮았다. 학교의 교육과정 변인으로는 성취압력이 높은 학교의 학생일수록, 교사-학생간 상호작용이 높은 학교의 학생일수록 학교의존도가 높았다. “방과후학교”의 참여율과 강제성 정도의 변인들은 통계적으로 유의미하지 않았으나, “자율학습”과 “방과후학교” 프로그램이 도움이 된다고 인식하는 정도는 학생들의 수능준비과정에서의 학교의존도에 긍정적 효과를 주었다.
Abstract
We investigated how student and school-level factors would influence high school students' reliance on their schools in preparing for the college scholastic ability test(CSAT). We used 2-level Hierarchical Linear Model. In result, factors of "achievement pressure," "interaction between teacher and student," and students' positive recognition about "self-regulation study program" and "after-school program" had positive effects on students' reliance on their schooling in preparing for CSAT. School-background factors like "school average of family SES" and "school in larger city" had negative effects. Student-level factors such as family SES level, academic achievement(GPA), student's education desire, the college rank desired, use of private tutoring or Educational Broadcasting System(EBS) lecture, parents' competitive attitude on private tutoring had negative effects. Though school-level factors did not much affect students' reliance on their school education, our findings indicated the possibilities that factors like teacher's commitment to teaching and interaction between teachers and students could lead students' higher reliance on school education.
