Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavior control on teachers’ intention to use an online multimedia contents in the classroom. To examine this, this study proposes a model to predict the teachers’ intention to continue using an online multimedia contents for teaching within the classroom based on the theory of planned behavior and the technology acceptance model. In this study, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, senior teacher impact, the influence of colleagues, student impact, computer self-efficacy, and the facilitating atmosphere were considered exogenous variables; while attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavior control were considered as the moderating variables; and the intention to continue using an online multimedia contents for teaching were considered as the dependent variable. Data from school teachers were collected using structured questionnaires. The major findings showed that attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavior control had a great impact on teachers’ intention to utilize an online multimedia contents in the classroom. This study produced additional practical implications.
