경비지도사제도 개선 방안에 관한 연구: 수험생 인식을 중심으로

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to select the improvement of the security instructor system as the test subject and to examine the appropriateness of it and system operation. To this end, the field role of security instructors was examined based on the relevant regulations of the Security Business Act and the Petition Police Act. In addition, interviews were conducted with certificate applicants and those involved in the security instructor system. The research results derived from this study are as follows. First, candidates for the security instructor certificate are generally satisfied with both the required and elective subjects, and test methods used. They also recognized that the use of the certificate meets the purpose of introduction. However, there are also opinions on some adjustments and reviews of educational subjects by security instructors working in the field. Second, it was found that there are new opinions on difficulty adjustment, review of acceptance criteria, and implementation of conservative education after basic education. In addition, it is judged that suggestions from the Security Instructor Association should be reflected in the operation of the system in the future. Therefore, related institutions should actively promote measures necessary for the development of the private security industry, such as supplementing test methods and reviewing the education system. They should also improve the security instructor system. In addition, in order to effectively operate the qualification system and improve the professionalism of security instructors, we should prepare for the increasing demand for social safety by reviewing the subjects, basic education subjects, and maintenance education overall.
