(연구배경 및 목적) 우리나라는 1950년 전쟁 이후, 경제개발계획 수립과 실천을 통해 경제의 비약적 성장을 이루게 되었다. 이러한 경제성장은 건축 분야 발전과 실내공간디자인 분야의 태동과 성장을 이끌어왔다. 그러나 경제위기와 4차산업혁명, COVID-19 팬데믹 등의 다양한 사회문제와 시대별 경향의 변화는 라이프스타일과 실내공간디자인에 대한 요구 변화를 견인하였고, 다양한 공간에서 기능의 융·복합화, 다기능화 현상이 나타났다. 특히 학령인구감소로 인한 잉여공간은 창의융합 교육을 위한 융합공간이 되었다. 이에 본 연구는 실내 공간디자인의 성장 초기부터 시대별 사회변화에 따른 공간사용자의 요구를 반영한 공간의 융합 및 다기능화 현상을 종합적으로 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. (연구방법) 본 연구는 앞으로 공간사용자의 요구는 AI 기술의 발전에 따른 급격한 사회변화가 파급되며 공간의 융·복합화 또는 다기능화가 더욱 심화할 것으로 보인다. 이러한 ‘공간의 다기능성’에 대한 공간계획요소를 파악하기 위해 시대별 대표공간의 정보를 수집하고 네트워크 분석을 진행하였다. 구체적인 조사분석은 텍스트 마이닝 기법을 통해 주요 키워드 도출 후, 키워드의 빈도와 특성을 TEX TOM(텍스 톰)과 Gephi(계피)으로 분석하였다. 또한, 빈도 분석, TF-IDF 분석, 중심성 분석, CONCOR 군집 분석을 진행하였다. (결과) 이러한 과정을 통해 사회경제적 특성의 변화는 시대별 공간디자인 특성에 반영되어 공간 기능의 분리 방식과 융복합 방식의 변화가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이는 문화와 공간사용자의 라이프 스타일 변화와 요구를 반영한 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 전 시기에 걸친 CONCOR 분석 결과, 실내공간디자인의 키워드는 설계, 기능, 체험, 소재, 조명 등 다양한 구성 요소들이 시기별로 특화되면서도 점차 복합적이고 연계된 공간 구성 체계로 발전해 온 것으로 나타났다. 이는 실내 공간이 점점 더 융합, 체험, 감성적인 방향으로 다기능화로 확장되고 있는 것으로 해석될 수 있다. (결론) 1980년 이후 40년간 우리나라의 실내 공간은 초기의 공간 기능 분화 형태에서 점차 융합적 공간의 형태로 진화되었으며, 시기별 변화되는 경제 상황, 사회문화적 패러다임과 정책 변화로 인해 공간의 다기능화는 다양한 방식으로 변화해 왔다. 앞으로 정보기술의 발전을 기반으로 한 스마트 도시환경 조성에 이러한 융합 현상은 더욱 심화 가속될 것으로 보인다.
Abstract
(Background and Purpose) Interior design has grown along with the development of the architectural field since 1962-79, when the country, which had been in ruins since 1950, achieved rapid economic growth through the establishment of economic development plans by government. However, the economic crisis, the 4th industrial revolution, and the COVID-19 pandemic have shown many social changes lead consumption patterns, and in particular, educational spaces are also changing due to creative convergence education. This study aims to understand the aspects of the multifunctionalization of interior spaces by identifying the characteristics of the multifunctionalization of spaces by era and the deepening of these characteristics according to the changes in the needs of consumers and space users. (Method) Through a literature review, it is expected that changes in the needs of future space users will spread to the daily life and professional technologies of AI technology, and the convergence or multi-functionality of space will deepen further. We aim to collect information on spatial planning elements for such‘multi-functionality of space’by utilizing generative AI technology and proceed more objectively through network analysis. We derived main keywords through text mining techniques, and analyzed the frequency and characteristics of the derived keywords using TEXTOM and Gephi as analysis tools. We organized the results and performed frequency analysis, TF-IDF analysis, centrality analysis, and CONCOR cluster analysis. (Results) In this study, it was found that changes in socioeconomic characteristics were reflected by period, and that there were changes in the separation and convergence methods of spatial functions by period, and that the design of each period reflected culture and lifestyle and contained the needs of space users. In particular, the results of CONCOR analysis across all periods showed that interior architecture keywords, such as design, function, experience, material, and lighting, were specialized by period, while gradually developing into a complex and linked space composition system. This can be interpreted that interior space is increasingly expanding into multifunctionality in the direction of convergence, experience, and emotion. (Conclusions) Over the past 40 years since 1980, Interior Design in Korea have gradually evolved from the initial spatial functional differentiation form to the form of integrated spaces, and the multifunctionality of spaces has changed in various ways due to economic conditions, sosociology-culturalaradigms, and policy changes that have changed over time. In the future, the development of information technology is expected to accelerate this convergence phenomenon by going beyond public spaces and creating a future smart city.
