이 연구의 목적은 경찰서 수준의 체감안전도의 이론적, 정책적 측면을 고려하여, 지역체감안전도의 향상을 위한 방안을 고찰하는 것이다. 분석을 위해서 2014년부터 2021년까지의 체감안전도 자료를 사용하였으며, 음주단속, 신호위반, 과속단속과 교통안전활동점수의 관계를 회귀분석(pooled OLS)하였다. 분석 결과에서 음주단속은 교통안전활동점수에 음(-)의 영향을 미치고 신호위반과 과속단속은 양(+)의 영향을 미치는 것을 통계적으로 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 분산분석(ANOVA)을 통해 경찰서 급지별로 음주단속, 과속, 신호위반 단속 수준이 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해서 지역별 치안 수준에 대해 공공기관의 대응의 필요성, 과속과 신호위반단속 강화로 교통안전활동 필요성, 경찰서 급지별로 다른 음주단속, 과속, 신호위반의 차이를 줄여 전체적으로 일관된 치안의 제공 필요성을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to consider ways to improve local perceived safety by considering the theoretical and policy aspects of perceived safety at the police station level. For analysis, perceived safety data from 2014 to 2021 was used, and the relationship between drunkenness crackdowns, red light violations, speeding crackdowns, and traffic safety activity scores was analyzed (pooled OLS). As a result of the analysis, it was statistically confirmed that drunkenness crackdowns had a negative (-) effect on traffic safety activity scores, while traffic light violations and speeding crackdowns had a positive (+) effect. Through Anova analysis, it was confirmed that there was a statistically significant difference in the level of crackdowns on drunkenness, speeding, and red light violations by police station. Through this study, the need for public institutions to respond to the level of security in each region, the need for traffic safety activities by strengthening crackdowns on speeding and red light violations, and the need to provide consistent public security overall by reducing the differences in drunkenness crackdowns, speeding, and red light violations depending on the police station
