This paper will take the vowel of Korean and Chinese as the research object, through the method of experimental phonetics, make a comparative analysis of the vowel distribution map, and observe the commonness and characteristics vowel of Korean and Chinese from the perspective of typology. In Korean education or Chinese education, the two languages have different unit sounds, and there are pronunciation errors. That is, it is difficult to learn the sounds of the target language that are not present in the mother tongue, and it is easy to learn the sounds of the target language that are present in the mother tongue. However, in actual educational scenarios, students using different languages make the same mistakes. For example, the Chinese vowel /y/ is not only a mistake made by Korean students, but also by Japanese students, Russian students and Mongolian students. Despite the influence of mother tongue, if the generality and characteristics of natural language are used to analyze, teachers in the field of education can easily predict the mistakes of learners in many countries. To this end, this paper will investigate the type characteristics of Korean and Chinese vowels, and analyze the causes of vowels errors in foreign language education in connection with the universality and characteristics of natural language.
