학습자 말뭉치 분석을 통한 한국어 시간 은유표현 사용 양상 연구 - 중국어권 학습자를 중심으로 -

이 연구에서는 말뭉치에 나타난 중국어권 학습자와 모어 화자의 시간 표현 사용 양상을 계량적으로 비교함으로써 중국어권 학습자의 시간 표현 사용 양상을 살펴보고자 한다. 시간은 우리의 삶과 밀접한 관계에 있기 때문에 시간 은유표현은 일상 언어생활 속에 매우 널리 퍼져 있고 시간 은유표현을 습득하는 것은 어휘력 신장에 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 말뭉치 분석을 통해서 학습자가 습득하지 못한 시간 표현을 도출하였으며, 오류의 원인으로 모국어 간섭과 교재의 특성을 지적하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 개념적 은유를 활용한 명시적 교육 방안의 필요성, 교재에서 보다 다양한 시간 표현을 제시할 필요성, 한중 시간 은유 차이에 대한 대조 언어학적 교육 방안의 필요성을 제안하였다.
Abstract
This study examined the usage of Korean time expressions through a quantitative comparison of their use by Chinese-speaking learners and native speakers in a corpus. Because time is a crucial element of our lives, time metaphors are prevalent in everyday language and life and their mastery is important for students to improve their vocabulary. In this study, the corpus analysis collected time expressions that learners had not acquired and allowed the identification of native language interference and characteristics of textbooks as the cause of the errors. Based on the results of the analysis, the following issues and suggestions are presented. An explicit educational method using conceptual metaphors should be developed, and more diverse time representations should be presented in textbooks. Also, there is a need to create a contrastive education method to cater to the differences in time metaphors between Korean and Chinese.
