주제 중심의 통합교육과정 운영을 통한 유아 창의성 교육 방안 탐색

본 연구는 유아에게 의미 있는 교육과정 활동을 통해 창의성을 증진시킬 수 있는방안을 모색하기 위한 것이다. 창의성 교육에 대한 선행 연구를 토대로 창의성 교육이 교육과정과 연계되어야 하며, 인지, 성향, 동기적 요소를 포함해야 함을 알 수 있었고, 통합교육과정이 창의성의 인지적, 성향적, 동기적 요소를 함께 신장시킬 수 있는 접근이 됨을 확인하였다. 이에 우리나라 유아교육과정의 구성 체제인 주제 중심의통합교육과정 운영을 통해 창의성 교육을 구현하는 실천 사례를 분석하여 창의성 교육 방안을 제안하였다. 구체적 사례는 유치원의 만 4세아 학급의 사례로, 유아가 일상적으로 경험하는 교육과정 활동과 창의성 교육 활동을 통합하여 창의성의 인지적 요소와 성향적, 동기적 요소를 증진 시킬 수 있는 구체적인 질문과 활동들을 상세히 분석하는데 초점을 두었다. 본 연구의 이러한 노력은 주제 중심 통합교육과정을 통해창의성을 증진 시키려는 교사들에게 참고가 되는 기초 자료를 제공하였다는 점에서시사점을 찾을 수 있겠다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore the method of developing young children'screativity through meaningful curriculum activities. Through the literature review onthe concepts of creativity and the current state of creativity education, it was identifiedthat creativity can not be promoted only by training the cognitive thinking skills, andsocial and contextual factors have a crucial role in developing creativity. Effectivecreativity education activities should be infused with curriculum contents and activities,and the integrated thematic curriculum can be the effective and meaningful approachfor young children. Based on these finding, it was suggested that integrated creativethinking activities with thematic approach should be adopted by the Nuri Curriculum
