본 연구는 창의성교육에 관한 유아교사들의 인식과 현장에서 이루어지고 있는 창의성교육의 실태를 살펴봄으로써 유아 창의성교육의 현황을 진단․반성하고 바람직한 방향을 제시하여 창의성교육을 활성화시킬 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 설문지를 개발하고 서울, 경기, 인천 지역 교사 262명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 일상생활 속에서 이루어지는 교사들의 창의성교육 활동을 도와줄 수 있는 유아 창의성 향상 프로그램과 교사의 창의성에 대한 지식과 이해를 넓히고 이를 교육 현장에서 활용할 수 있는 능력을 향상시켜 줄 수 있는 체계적인 교사교육 프로그램이 개발 및 보급되어야 한다는 결론을 얻었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to provide a database that can invigorate creativity education for young children by diagnosing and reflecting teachers' perceptions and current state of creativity education in the field of early childhood education. In order to investigate teachers' perceptions and practices of creativity education, the researcher conducted a questionnaire survey of 262 early childhood education teachers in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon area in Korea. Based on the collected data, it was concluded that a systematic program is needed for teachers to improve and expand their knowledge, understanding of creativity, and the ability to utilize the knowledge and the understanding in the field.
