AI 시대 한문 고전을 통한 인성교육 방향 - 논어를 중심으로 -

21세기 현대는 기술혁명의 실용적 가치와 인문적 가치가 균형 있게 발전하여야 한다. 따라서 지성과 인성과 심미적 감성을 지닌 인재를 양성하기 위해서는 현대 학문과 함께 인본주의 사고와 인성교육이 필요하다. 이를 위해 한문 고전이 제시하고 있는 도덕적 이상론이 미래를 열어가는 미래 지향적 중심가치로써 그 의미가 재조명되어야 한다. 본 논문은 AI 시대 기술문명의 실용적 가치가 인성에 미치는 영향과 한문 고전에 담겨 있는 인문적 가치를 성찰하여 인공지능 시대에 요구되는 인재상과 인성교육의 방향을 한문 고전을 통해서 찾아 제시하고자 하였다. 기술혁명의 실용적 가치는 우리 삶을 편리하게 하는 수단적인 것들이고 한문 고전의 인문적 가치들은 우리 삶에 목적이 되는 것으로서 나만을 생각하는 것이 아니라, 公心을 가지고 전체를 배려하는 公同善을 추구하는 것임을 밝혔다. 또한 인공지능 시대에 가치관의 혼란으로 서로의 욕구가 충돌하는 사회 갈등 문제들을 해결할 수 있는 학문적 사상적 기초가 한문 고전 속에 이미 다 있다는 것을 드러내고자 하였다. AI 시대에 필요한 인재상을 양성하기 위해서는 자기완성을 위한 修己와 관계 완성을 위해 忠恕, 그리고 옛것을 익혀서 새것을 알아 가는 溫故而知新이 필요하다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 다음과 같은 네 가지를 제시하였다. 첫째, 인본주의 사고와 공감 능력을 기르고, 둘째, 다양성을 인식하고 수용할 것, 셋째, 창의적 사고를 기를 것, 넷째, 지속적 학문습득을 위해 평생교육의 필요성을 강조하였다. AI 시대에 고전에 스며있는 성인의 지혜와 덕목들이 인성교육에 적합하고 미래의 주역이 될 청소년들에게 반드시 학습시키는 것이 매우 의미 있는 교육이라 생각한다.
Abstract
In the 21st century, the practical value of the technological revolution and the humanistic value must be developed in a balanced way. Therefore, humanistic thinking and character education are needed along with modern studies in order to nurture talents with intelligence, personality, and aesthetic sensibility. For this purpose, the meaning of the moral idealism presented by the classics of Chinese characters needs to be re-examined as a future-oriented central value that opens the future. This thesis aims to find and present the image of talent and the direction of character education required in the age of artificial intelligence through Chinese classics by reflecting on the effects of the practical value of technological civilization on character and the humanistic values contained in the classics of Chinese characters. The practical value of the technological revolution is a means of making our lives convenient, and the humanistic values of the Chinese classics are the purpose of our lives, and we do not think only of ourselves, but pursue a common cause that considers the whole with a public mind. stated that it is Also, in the age of artificial intelligence, it was intended to reveal that the academic and ideological foundations that can solve the social conflict problems in which mutual needs collide due to the confusion of values already exist in the classics of Chinese characters. In order to nurture the image of talent needed in the AI era, it is necessary to have a good relationship for self-fulfillment, a good relationship to complete a relationship, and a new experience by learning the old and learning the new. For this purpose, in this paper, the following four are suggested. First, to cultivate humanistic thinking and empathy, second, to recognize and accept diversity, third, to cultivate creative thinking and habits, and fourth, to emphasize the necessity of lifelong education for continuous academic acquisition. In the age of AI, the wisdom and virtues of adults that permeate the classics are suitable for character education and I think it is a very meaningful education to teach the youth who will become the leaders of the future.
