우리나라 자원봉사자의 적극적 자원봉사참여의 영향요인에 관한 연구 - 자원봉사정체감의 조절효과를 중심으로 -

초록

본 연구는 2005년 전국 자원봉사 조사 자료를 활용하여 적극적 자원봉사 활동 참여에 영향을 미치는 다중 요인들을 알아보고 자원봉사정체감과 영향요인의 상호작용모델을 통하여 조절효과를 검증하였다. 조사대상자 1,611명 중 자원봉사자는 331명(20.5%)이며, 자원봉사자 중 적극적 자원봉사자는 219명(66.2%), 소극적 자원봉사자는 112명(33.8%)으로 나타났다. 적극적 자원봉사자는 남자 비율이 상대적으로 높고, 연령에서 40대가 차지하는 비율이 상대적으로 높은 것으로 드러났지만, 전반적으로 적극적 자원봉사자와 소극적 자원봉사자 간에 인구사회학적 특성은 큰 차이를 보이지 않은 것으로 드러났다. 적극적 자원봉사활동 참여를 예측하는 요인은 조직의 권유, 부모의 자원봉사활동 참여, 자원봉사교육, 자원봉사활동만족도 등 네 변수로 밝혀졌다. 조직권유, 부모참여, 자원봉사교육, 자원봉사활동만족 등 영향요인과 조절변수로서 자원봉사정체감과의 상호작용 효과를 검증한 결과 조절효과는 자원봉사교육 및 자원봉사정체감의 상호작용항과 자원봉사활동만족 및 자원봉사정체감의 상호작용항에서 통계적으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 사회복지실천에 대한 함의 및 개입의 방향성을 논의하였다.

Abstract

Despite the importance of volunteerig, the determinants of active volunteer activities are still largely unknown. With few notable exceptions, volunteerism research has provided either a demographic analysis of volunteers or an analysis of the outcomes that are associated with volunteerism. This study examined determinants of active participation in volunteerism and explored whether volunteer identity have moderating effects or not. The active participation in volunteerism was predicated by four variables(asking of organization, parents participation in volunteerism, volunteer education, volunteering satisfaction). Also, volunteer identity were proven to be significantly influential to active participation in volunteerism. The logistic regression analysis has supported the volunteer identity has moderating effect between volunteer education, volunteering satisfaction and the active participation in volunteerism. Finally, the implications of sustaining volunteerism and increasing volunteer identity are considered.
