본 연구는 중․고등학생 자녀가 있는 250명의 재혼부부 배우자들을 대상으로 결혼만족도 요인을 살펴보는 것이다. 결혼만족도는 여러 가지 변인들에 의하여 영향을 받을 수 있으나 본 연구에서는 사회인구학적 변인으로 재혼부부의 성별, 교육기간, 재혼기간, 재혼가족 유형, 공동자녀 여부, 가족역할긴장 변인으로 가족경계의 모호성, 역할의 모호성, 역할 갈등, 사회적 지지 변인으로 가족지지와 친구지지를 중심으로 결혼만족도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 사회․인구학적 변인으로는 재혼가족의 유형이, 역할긴장 요인으로는 역할의 모호성, 가족경계의 모호성, 역할 갈등이 사회적 지지 요인으로는 가족지지가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 전체요인이 결혼만족도에 미치는 영향력을 살펴보면 재혼부부의 역할의 모호성, 역할 갈등, 가족경계의 모호성, 가족지지, 재혼가족 유형 순으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 실천적 대안을 제시하였다.

Abstract

This study examined 250 remarried couples with middle or high school children at home to find factors affecting marital satisfaction. Specifically, the correlations between remarried couples' marital satisfaction and such factors as socio-demographic, role strain, and social support factors were inspected. The results of this study showed that the type of remarried family (socio-demographic factor), family boundary ambiguity, role ambiguity, and role conflict (role strain factor), and family support (social support factor) are significant to marital satisfaction. Overall, the role ambiguity, the role conflict, the family boundary ambiguity, family support, the type of remarried family, etc. (in descending order of significance) were found to have significant impacts on Korean remarried couples' marital satisfaction. Practical recommendations for social work services were made based on these results.
