가족내 상호지지와 가족외 지지가 은퇴고령자의 주관적 행복감에 미치는 영향

초록

본 연구는 은퇴고령자의 주관적 행복감에 가족내 상호지지와 가족외 지지가 미치는 영향을 확인하여 노인의 전반적인 행복감을 향상시키기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 연구 대상자는 고령화연구패널 제 3차년도 기본조사 자료 중 55세 이상이면서 한 명 이상의 생존자녀를 두고 있는 유배우은퇴노인 1733명이었다. 위계적 회귀모형분석 결과 노인의 주관적 행복감의 14.5%를 설명하는 최종모델에서 노인의 주관적 행복감에 영향을 미치는 요인은 친구들과 만나는 주당평균횟수가 상대적 영향력이 가장 높았다. 그다음으로 자녀들과의 주당 평균연락횟수와 자녀에게 제공한 금전적 지지, 자녀로부터 받은 금전적 지지 순으로 은퇴고령자의 주관적 행복감에 정적 영향력이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 은퇴고령자의 주관적 행복감에 부적인 방향에서 상대적 영향력을 가지는 요인으로는 배우자에게 돌봄제공을 받은 주당평균시간, 간병인에게 돌봄제공을 받은 주당평균시간, 자녀에게 돌봄제공을 받은 주당평균시간 순인 것으로 나타났다.

Abstract

This study was conducted to understand the effect of reciprocal providing family support and non-family support on subjective happiness of retired elderly. The subjects were 1733 retired elderly who were older than 55-years old and have spouse and at least one surviving children. Hierarchical regression were conducted to see the impact of reciprocal providing family support and non-family support on subjective happiness of retired elderly. In the final model explained 14.5% of the subjective happiness of elderly, factors affecting the highest relatively influence to the subjective happiness of elderly is, the average number of times per week to meet with friends. Followed by the sequence shown as the average number of contacting their children per week, giving financial support to children, giving financial support to children, receiving financial support from children. In contrast, In contrast, the subjective well-being of retired elderly people decreased when the people received more frequent informal care giving from spouses, more frequently received care giving from external nursing professionals, and received more frequent informal care giving from children.
