본 연구의 목적은 가정폭력에 대한 경찰의 개입 태도와 그에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지 파악하여 관련 교육의 지침을 마련하고 바람직한 개입 모델의 개발에 필요한 자료를 제공하기 위한 것이다. 연구 대상자는 강원도와 경기도 일부의 경찰관 240명이며 조사 도구는 연구자가 개발한 설문지와 가정폭력 사례를 이용하였다. 가정폭력에 대한 개입 방법에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석하기 위해 로짓 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 조사 결과에 의하면, 가정폭력에 대한 교육횟수나 관련 지식의 정도는 높지 않았으며, 가정폭력 개입에 대한 태도(적극적태도, 소극적 태도)에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 변수는 경찰관의 개인적 요인 (학력,경력,결혼만족도),인식요인(성역할 고정관념,아내학대통념,신체적 학대 인식, 성적학대 인식),업무특성 요인(교육 횟수, 법에 대한 지식,교육 내용,역할인식)등이 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 하여 가정폭력 방지법에 대한 정확한 지식 습득,가정폭력 교육 내용의 다양화(경찰 개입의 효과성,가정폭력에 대한 통념,여성에 대한 잘못된 편견 등 포함),경찰사회사업가 등 경찰관을 원조하고 가정폭력과 같은 민감한 사건을 다룰 부서 설치, 가정폭력에 대한 구체적 행동 지침의 마련, 가정폭력에 대한 연계 대응 체계의 구축 등을 제안하였다.
Abstract
The Purpose of this study is to clarify the influential factors on the intervening attitudes to domestic violence and to present the necessary materials to develop the desirable intervening model in the related education manual. The research was practiced to 240 policemen in Kangwon and the part of Kyunggi and Survey tools included questions and vignettes developed by the researcher. Logistic regrssion are applied to analyze the influencing factors on dependant variable(active,passive response) Findings were follow. Police men's personal factors(scholarship,carrer,marital satisfaction) ,the perception factors(sex role bias, myth of wife abuse, perception of physical and sexual abuse) and police officer's occupationally characteristic factors(the number of education, legal knowledge, some do education curriculum,role recognition to domestic violence) were statistically significant predictors to the variance of the intervening attitudes. Implication for future research and limitations of the study are discussed.
