강점관점을 사회복지 실천에 적용하기 위한 면접기술로서 해결지향적 질문기법 사용의 적절성을 설명하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 질문기법 적용의 적절성을 설명하기 위해 강점관점과 해결중심적 접근법의 기본전제와 가정의 유사성을 설명하고, 강점관점의 주요개념(임파워먼트, 레질리언스, 소속감, 치유, 대화와 협동, 불신의 종식)들이 해결지향적 질문기법(예외질문, 기적질문, 척도질문, 대처질문)에 어떻게 적용될 수 있는지를 서술하였다. 또한 강점관점을 해결중심적 접근기법에 적용하여 강점을 탐색 또는 발견하고 활용하는 과정을 활성화하며, 그 과정에서 해결방안의 구축을 촉진시킬 수 있는 가능성을 타진하였다. 연구결과 강점관점과 해결중심접근법은 문제중심적인 사고방식에서 벗어나고 병리적인 것의 원인규명에 관심을 두는 대신에 클라이언트가 이미 가지고있는 강점과 자원에 초점을 두고, 자신의 강점과 자원에 관하여 인식하고 새로운 의미를 부여할 때에 문제해결을 위한 동기와 해결방안을 모색할 수 있는 능력이 회복 내지 강화된다는 전제가치와 가정이 일치하는 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 것은 전통적인 접근법의 기본가정, 실무자의 기본자세, 접근의 방향, 변화에 대한 패러다임 등과 매우 상반되는 것이다. 그리고 강점관점의 6개 주요개념 모두가 4개의 질문기법에 적용될 수 있는 가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 근거로 강점관점을 사회복지 실천에 적용하는데 있어 실천기술로서 해결지향적 질문기법이 적절하며 개입과정을 더욱 활성화시킬 수 있음을 제언하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explain the valididity of Strength Perspective for the interview techniques used in the Solution Focused Questions. In order to explain the validity of the specialized techniques, the similarity between the Solution Focsed Approach and the Strength Perspective is described, and also how key concepts in the Strength Perspective such as impowerment, membership, resilience, healing, dialogue and collaboration, suspension and disbelief can be applied to the questions in the Soluiton Focused Question Techniques(exception question, miracle question, scaling question, coping question) is also described. And it was explored to find the strong points when Strength Perspective is applied to Solutions Focused Approach, and in so doing an attempt was made to accelerate the way of mutual adjustment. It was found that the assumptions and hypotheses of both the Strength Perspective and Solution Focused Approach are very similar. This is contrary to the basic hypotheses, basic attitude of workers, directions of approach, change paradigm of the traditional approaches. And it is highly feasible that the six key concepts of Strength Perspective can be used for the four question techniques. Based on these findings, Solution Focused Question Techniques are proposed as more enriched techniques in the social work practices when used with Strength Perspective.
