자기 평가 전략을 활용한 고쳐쓰기 양상 분석

이 논문은 학생들의 쓰기 능력을 향상시키기 위한 고쳐쓰기 활동의중요성과 이를 효과적으로 수행하기 위한 자기 평가 전략에 대해 논의하고, 고등학교 학생들이 고쳐쓰기를 할 때, 자기 평가 전략을 활용하여 고쳐쓰기를 어떻게 하는지 그 양상을 분석한 것이다. 이 연구에서는 학생들의 글을 분석하기 위해 Faigly & Witte(1981)의 분류법을 활용하였다. 이 분류법은 고쳐쓰기의 통사적인 면과 의미적인 면을 모두 반영하여 학생들의 글을 다양한 측면에서 분석해 볼 수 있다. 학생들의 글을 분석한결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 통제반과 실험반을 비교했을 경우, 실험반은통제반보다 고쳐쓰기에서 의미적 변화특히 거시 구조적 변화가 더 많았다. 그리고 실험반과 통제반 모두 첨가의 고쳐쓰기 유형이 다른 고쳐쓰기 유형보다 그 빈도가 더 높았다. 둘째, 쓰기 능력에 따라 비교했을 경우, 상수준의 학생들이 하수준의 학생들보다 거시 구조적 변화가 많았으며 그 차이 또한 매우 크다. 이러한 사실로 미루어 보아 자기 평가 전략을 활용한 고쳐쓰기가 의미적인 변화 특히 거시 구조적 변화를 가져오며이는 상수준의 학생들에게 적극적으로 활용되고 있음을 알 수 있다.
Abstract
This article is to analyze students' revision pattern and to discuss about the significance of revision and self-assessment strategy in order for students to improve their writing ability. This study used to Faigley &Witte's revision taxonomy that could anaylze students' text in various aspects. The following is the results of the analyzing. Firstly, the proportion of experimental group' the meaningful changes-especially macro-structure changes- was higher than the proportion of control group' that. " Addition" among the other category was occupied a considerable proportion for both groups-experimental and control. Secondly, the proportion of high-level group' the macro-structure changes was higher than the proportion of low-level group' that and their difference was great too. We were able to identify that revision based on self-assessment strategy brought about the macro-structure changes and it was actively used to high-level group.
