이 연구에서는 작문 교육 활성화를 위한 방안의 하나로 쓰기 영역의 성취기준에 따른 학생 예시문의 개념 및 필요성을 탐색하고, 외국의 학생 예시문 제시 현황을 고찰하여 학생 예시문 선정의 방안을 구안해 보았다. 학생 예시문이란 ‘동료나 선, 후배 등 비슷한 수준의 학생들이 작성한 글로서 쓰기 교수․학습이나 평가 장면에서 활용하기 위해 목적의식적으로 선정된 다양한 유형의 문자 텍스트’로 정의하였으며 그 효과로는 추상적인 성취기준에 대한 구체적 안내, 작문 교육에서의 실제적 측면의 강화, 쓰기 평가 전문성의 신장 등을 제안하였다. 이 연구에서는 학생 예시문 선정의 방안을 탐색하기에 앞서 미국과 호주, 캐나다 등 영미권 국가의 국가 단위 평가나 교육과정에서 학생 예시문 제시 현황을 고찰하였다. 그 결과 수준별 학생 예시문의 제공, 쓰기 목적 및 상황의 제시, 성취 기준과 관련한 해설의 중요성과 같은 시사점을 얻을 수 있었다. 문헌 연구와 외국의 사례를 토대로 이 글에서는 ‘쓰기 성취기준의 분석, 성취 수준 및 쓰기 과제의 개발, 채점 기준 설정, 예시문 수집, 예시문 평가와 통계 처리, 예시문에 대한 질적 분석’에 이르는 학생 예시문 선정의 절차 및 방법을 구안하였다.
Abstract
This study is aimed at contemplating the concept and necessity of example writings of students based on writing achievement standards in order to encourage Korean teachers to teach students how to write and also aimed at figuring out ways of selecting examples from students' writings, looking through similar cases in foreign countries Examples writings of students are writings that their peers with similar ability have written. They are defined as various types of written texts chosen purposefully for being utilized on writing exams or in teaching contexts. This study will provide concrete guidelines for writing achievement standards, strengthen writing education, and improve professionalism in writing assessment. In this study, we observed some classrooms where students writings are presented as examples in Unites States, Austrailia, and Canada before considering ways to select students samples. Consequently, we deduced the importance of giving students sample writing according to their level, presenting purposes or situations for writing, and explanation related to achievement standards. Based on relevant documents and case studies into foreign countries, we contrived a process and method for things as follows. - analysis of writing achievement standards. - development of achievement level and writing tasks - setting up criteria in scoring - collecting sample writings - assessment and statistic process of sample writings - qualitative analysis of sample writings
