교양 없는 시대의 교양으로서의 글쓰기

Abstract

The logic behind market is spreaded everywhere in our society. Recently, many universities, however, have a tendency to intensify cultural education. The subject, which plays the principal axis, is the writing in this tendency. If so, how should we educate the writing subject as a cultural education these days? This thesis makes a counterproposal about this problem according to my lights. This research, firstly, searched for the concept of culture(bildung) intensively. The culture concept about tradition of humane studies can be observed by people start form Hegel, Goethe, M. Arnold and so on. Addition to this, the reason why the word 'culture' is stressed in capitalism and industrialization age. And also this research tries to prove the validity of culture concept. On this account, it is needed to be done to recognize culture concept deeply for writing with fitted tenor and status of culture. The writing strategy, which is suggested with ideal critical mind, as a culture in this age can be summarized with following points. First, having the discourse of knowledge in this age, which embody the spirit of culture, as writing material. Second, Practicing the first point, mentioned above, with dialectical argument of writing method. Third, taking the results of above 2 points to mutual debate. With this writing practice, we can master the self-objectification, self-generalization and have cultural spirit which helps to transcend oneself out of egoistic doxa.
