“就”的语义和语义指向演变研究

“JIU(就)” is one of the most frequently used word ，and which is a word with various semantic features and functions in modern Chinese. Jiu(就) can also be a verb, conjunction,preposition, adverb etc in modern Chinese. According to the grammaticalization of Jiu(就), we consider that the meaning of adverb Jiu(就) is the historical accumulation. This paper article emphasizes the historical evolution on the semantic orientation of adverb, and applies them to study the Jiu(就)，and tried to make some recommendations to the grammar teaching.
