숲 기반 인성교육의 체계화와 활성화에 관한 탐색적 연구

인성에 대한 반성과 인성강화의 필요성에 대한 시대적 요구로 인해 인성교육이 강조되고 있다. 그러나인성교육은 아직 타당하고 폭넓게 활용되는 교육체계가 없고, 운영효과도 아직 충분히 검증되지 못하였다. 반면에 숲은 인간의 삶에 다양한 혜택을 부여함과 함께 인간에게 신체적, 심리적으로도 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있다. 뿐만 아니라, 교육적 효과까지 인정받아 최근 더욱 다양한 목적으로 활용되고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 혜택이 많은 숲이 인성교육에도 기여할 수 있다고 보고, 숲 기반 인성교육의 개념을 체계화시키고, 활성화에 기여하고자 추진된 탐색적 연구이다. 이를 위해 먼저 기존 연구들이 강조하는 숲의 효과와 인성교육의 필요성을 분석하여, 숲 기반 인성교육의 가능성을 살펴보았다. 그리고 Tyler의 교육과정개발 모형에 맞추어 숲 기반 인성교육이갖추어야 하는 요소들을 파악하여 교육모델설계에 대한 아이디어를 제시하였다. 제안된 숲 기반 인성교육모델은대상, 공간, 도구의 확대를 통해 활성화시킬 수 있는데 마지막으로는 그러한 활성화에 관련된 방안을 제언한다.
Abstract
Humanity education has been emphasized by a generational demand of humanistic introspection and humanism-empowerment. However, humanity education has not reasonable, and universal education-system. Thus, an effect of humanity education has not been sufficiently verified. On contrary, a forest has provided not only a physically, psychologically positive effect, but also various benefits for a human life. In addition, the forest has been credited by its educational effect and has been utilized for various purpose. This study is an investigative research in order to contribute to vitalizations of humanity education and system of its concept based on the forest. Then, the study made a thorough review a possibility of humanity education by analyzing an importance of humanity education, and the effect of the forest on which previous studies has stressed. Moreover, an idea of an educationalmodel plan is suggested by searching elements based on humanistic education related to the forest which the humanity education needs to be equipped with. For the last, humanistic educational-model suggests methods of the vitalizations through an expansion of a subject, space, and tool.
