This paper deals with ‘the historic change of 『Korean』(Korean text, middle school 1-1) centering around text’s characteristic. Korean text has a various characteristic. First, 1~3st Korean text was usually developed by national, social demand. And yet, 4~7st Korean text reflected usually academic demand. Second, the relation of writer and reader in Korean text is unequal. Text developer was regarded as objective knowledge’s master. However, the supposition about reader has changed as time goes by. The reader of Korean text has considered from a community to a private person gradually. Third, the current of the times made the structure of Korean text all the more complicated. Especially, metatext has been increased. It means cohesive marker’s extension.
