1995년과 2000년의 수도권공간구조를 지역의 연계성과 중심성을 기초로 지역의 크기를 고려하면서 파악하였다. 지역의 연계성은 1995년에는 종로와 강남을 중심으로 수도권의 중심부를 형성하고, 다른 지역이 하나씩 수도권의 중심부에 포함되고 있지만, 2005년에는 경기도와 인천광역시가 하나의 권역을 형성하고 난 후에 수도권의 중심부에 포함되는 차이를 보이고 있다. 중심성은 1995년에 비해서 2005년에 서울특별시의 구보다는 인천광역시와 경기도의 시·군·구가 상대적으로 커졌으며, 인구의 크기를 고려했을 때에는 아직까지 중구가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 1995년 수도권의 도심은 크게 나누면 중구를 중심으로 하는 강북권, 강남구를 중심으로 하는 강남권으로 나눌 수 있으며, 부도심으로 영등포구권이 형성하고 있었다. 2005년 수도권의 도심은 크게 나누면 중구를 중심으로 하는 강북권과 강남구를 중심으로 하는 강남권으로 나눌 수 있으며, 좀 더 세분하면 강북권은 종로구권과 중구권, 강남권은 강남구권와 영등포구권으로 형성하고 있었다.
Abstract
The objectives of this study are to establish a spatial structure and to see how regional structuretransformed with time in the Capital Region on the basis of connectivity and centrality. In the analysis of connectivity,we find that Jongro and Kangnam are clustered into central region and other regions are included in central regiongradually in case of 1995, but in 2005, small cluster are formed in other region and included in central region. In thedegree-centrality of each year, traditional downtown(Jongro, Junggu) are declined and Kangnam, Seocho in Seoul andSeongnam, Hwaseong in Kyeonggi are strengthened relatively. In conclusion, the center of capital region are Jongro-Junggu and Kangnam-Seocho during the study period and secondary central region are gradually formed.
