주체, 환경, 자원, 메커니즘 요인이 기업 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 성과 및 업종의 조절효과를 중심으로

초록

본 연구는 ser-M 프레임워크를 이용하여 주체, 환경, 자원 요인과 메커니즘 차원에서 선택, 학습, 조정 메커니즘이 기업의 정량적, 정성적 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 효과를 분석하였다. 또한, 조절효과 분석을 위하여 분류변수 측면에서 IT 및 비 IT, 결과변수 측면에서 고성과 및 저성과 기업의 조절변수를 사용하였다. 본 연구에서 사용한 표본은 기업단위의 150개 표본이며, 고성과 기업 과 저성과 기업을 각각 69개, 70개로 분류하였으며, IT 기업과 비 IT 기업을 각각 69개, 81개로 분류하여 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 주체의 경험 요인은 고성과 기업의 정량적 경영성과와 저성과 기업의 정성적 경영성과에 유의미한 영향을 보였으며, 주체의 성향 요인은 고성과 기업의 정량적 경영성과에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 시장 환경이 안정적이고 경쟁이 치열하지 않을 때, 고성과 기업에서는 경영자들은 기업의 경영상태가 좋은 것으로 인식하고 있었으며, IT 기업과 저성과 기업에서는 경쟁이 치열할 경우 정량적인 경영성과는 오히려 좋은 것으로 분석되었다. 경영자원 확보는 저성과 기업의 정량적 경영성과와 고성과 기업의 정성적 경영성과에 유의미하게 나타났으며, IT 기업의 정량적 경영성과와 비 IT 기업의 정성적 경영성과에 유의미하게 작용하였다. 메커니즘 요인 중 내부 조정 요인은 고성과 기업의 정량적 경영성과에 유의미한 반면, 저성과 기업에서는 정성적 경영성과에 유의미하게 작용하였다. 학습 메커니즘 요인은 비 IT 기업의 정성적 경영성과에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으며, 외부 조정 요인은 IT 기업의 정성적 경영성과에 유의미한 영향을 갖는 것으로 분석되었다.

Abstract

We conducted empirical analysis using ser-M framework that provides integrated perception to take competitive advantages of the firms’ performance. In order to analyze moderate effects of subject, environment, resource and mechanism factors on the firms’ tangible and intangible performance, we used IT and non-IT group as classification variable, high and low-performance group as outcome variable. We used 150 firm level samples which are consisted of 69 high-performance firms, 70 low-performance firms and 69 IT based, 81 non-IT based firms. Results showed that the subject’s experience have significant effect to the tangible performance of high-performance firms and intangible performance of low-performance firms, and the subject’s characteristics effect into tangible performance of high-performance companies. The top management team of high-performance firms recognizes that the management condition is health when the market circumstance is being in stable, and the tangible performance of IT based and low-performance firms has high records under high competition. The acquisition of management resource factor has significant effect for the tangible performance of low-performance firms and the intangible performance of high-performance firms. Regarding the internal coordination factor, it is significant for the tangible performance of high-performance firms and the intangible performance of low-performance firms. Learning mechanism factor has significant effect for the intangible performance of non-IT based firms, and external coordination factor is significant for the intangible performance of IT based firms.
