This paper is followed by the previous paper of mine(이 경우, 2003) and examines the changes of relative honorifics which has been practiced in contemporary Korean language, especially focusing on the honorific terms used between husband and wife, parents and children, and among siblings such as sons-in laws, daughters-in-laws, mothers-in laws, fathers-in laws and so on. According to the rapid changes of society there has been a lot of changes in the relative honorifics in Korean language. These changes can be divided into two categories: the relative honorifics which has a lot of changes and those which has little changes. There may be a variety of causes to such changes, but one of the significant causes is that it is closely related to the fact that there has been a serious change in women status in our society. Another cause comes from the change in speaking styles in contemporary Korean; ‘ha-o’(～하오) style is replaced with ‘hae-yo’ and ‘ha-ge’(～하게)style is replaced with ‘hae(～해).
