최근 들어 학교 안 예술교육은 학습자의 인지적, 정서적, 관계적 측면의 개선을 위해 활발히 실시되고 있다. 특히 ‘연극’은 통합적 역량의 강화를 위해 학교 안 예술교육의 한 분야로 각광받고 있다. 본고에서는 교육연극을 전공한 세 예술교육가들의 학교 안 예술교육 경험, 관점, 비전에 대한 이야기를 듣고, 학교 안 예술교육의 문제점과 지향점에 대한 그들의 목소리를 담아내었다. 이 연구에서는 연구참여자의 예술교육에 대한 경험, 관점, 비전에 따라 리베르떼(Liberté, 자유), 에갈리떼(Égalité, 평등), 쥐스티스(Justice, 정의)라는 별명을 부여하였다. 연구방법은 예술 기반 조사 & 시적 연구(ARPI: Arts-based Research & Poetic Inquiry) 패러다임에 기반한 문화기술드라마(ethnodrama)를 선택하였다. 세 예술교육가와 각각 심층인터뷰를 진행한 후 질적자료분석도구(CAQDAS)인 ‘파랑새 2.0’을 활용하여 드라마적 코딩으로 분석하고, 이를 다시 시적 드라마적 글쓰기로 표현하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 학교 안 예술교육의 실질적인 주체라고 할 수 있는 ‘예술교육가’의 경험, 관점, 비전을 통해 학교 안 예술교육의 갖추어야 할 ‘본질’과 앞으로 나아갈 ‘방향’을 제시해줄 것이다. 또한 예술 기반 연구 방법으로서 문화기술드라마와 시적 드라마적 글쓰기를 적용함으로서 교육현장연구에 새로운 토대를 다지게 될 것이다.
Abstract
In recent years, the Art Education In School (AEIS) has been actively conducted to improve student's cognitive, emotional, and relational aspects. In particular, drama is widely regarded as one of the areas that AEIS tries to enhance through its integration. In this study, I listened to three art educators' experience, views, and vision about the AEIS and captured their voices on the problems and goals to the AEIS. In this paper, I gave the French nicknames of the participants depending on their experience, views and vision - 'Liberté' (liberty), 'Égalité' (equality), and 'Justice' (justice). The method of this study is ethnodrama, based on the paradigm of the ARPI (Arts-Based Research & Poetic Inquiry). After an interview with three art educators, using the " Blue Bird 2.0 - Data Analysis Tool (CAQDAS), which was analyzed as a dramaturgical coding, and expressed it as a poetic drama. The results of the study will present the essence of the AEIS and the future direction of art education through experience, views, vision of art education, which is a practical entity of the AEIS. Also, the ARPI as research method, will develop new ways of learning about the field of education by applying ethnodrama and poetic dramatic writing.
