대학생 글쓰기에 나타난 유의 어휘 사용 양상 및 인식 분석

Based on the importance of college writing education, this paper analyzed the synonym use aspects in college students' writing materials according to semantic functions. As a result, the repeated use of the same vocabulary was more prominent than the use of synonym in sentences. Analyzing the cases of using vocabulary in a synonymy, it was converged into a pattern corresponding to the semantic functions of "rhetorical avoidance of the same vocabulary repetition", "meaning specification", "synonym selection according to combination constraints", and "meaning focus". As a result of examining college students' perceptions of the use of synonym, it was confirmed that many college students were not aware of the semantic function of the use of synonym in detail, and may or may not match the direction of conventional writing education. This paper is meaningful in that it expanded the research that had been focused on writing sentences centered on grammatical errors to discussions linking vocabulary and sentences, and suggested a direction for more advanced university writing education.
