우리나라 여성중소기업의 주거래은행관계와 그 함의

초록

여성기업은 남성기업보다 금융제약에 직면하기 쉬운 것으로 알려져 있다. 우리 나라 여성기업도 그러할 것이라고 생각된다. 그러나 우리나라의 경우 아직까지 이를 실증한 논문은 거의 없다. 이러한 점을 감안하면서 이 글은 기술보증기금의 자료를 이용해 우리나라 여성중소기업의 금융거래실태를 실증분석하고 있다. 분 석결과는 우리나라의 여성기업도 금융제약에 직면할 수 있음을 보여주고 있다. 이러한 결과는 여성기업에 대한 고정관념에 기인되는 것으로, 금융기관, 정부, 그 리고 여성기업은 그것을 완화시키기 위해 노력해야 할 것이다

Abstract

It is said that female-owned businesses may confront financial constraints more often than male-owned businesses. We can say that the same story holds true for the Korean female-owned businesses. But no one has studied the difficulties they may experience. Keeping this in mind this paper, through analysing the Korea Technology Credit Guarantee Fund’s data, tries to show the main-bank relationships of the female-owned and male-owned businesses in Korea. The results reveal female- owned businesses in Korea may confront financial constraints. That may be due to stereotypes, financial institutions, government and female-business owners should do their best to ease them.
