Abstract
A new yelow gerbera (Gerbera hybrida Hort.) cultivar 'Saebom' was developed from a cross Princessa and Nevadafolowed by seedling and line selections at the Floricultural Experiment Station, Gyeongnam Agricultural Research and ExtensionServices (ARES) in 1998. Characteristics trials were conducted thre times from 1999 to 2001. It has yellow color (RHS No. 6-B),brown center, semi-double type and high yield. The vase life was 12.1 days. The average yield of Saebom was 47.0 flowers perplant in the grenhouse yield caried out from 1999 to 2001. This cultivar was registered as a commercial cultivar in 201. It will beable to be planted in any grenhouse region in Korea.
