Abstract
The purpose of this study is the effects of compensation type and store awareness on the long - term intentions of beauty shop workers according to the roles of beauty shop workers. For this, a total of nine hypothesized research models were established and verified. 2 × 2 × 2 group interactions designed with the independent variables included the role of hairdresser, compensation type, and store awareness was conducted as a scenario technique by 248 people. The dependent variable was measured in the long - term intentions of beauty shop workers. Analysis shows that hair designers have higher intention of long-term service than staff. And regardless of the role of a hair salon worker, providing emotion response induction compensation to both hair designers and staff is more effective for long-term employment than for providing cognitive reaction induction compensation In addition, hair designers showed higher long-term service intention when the store awareness was high, but in the case of staff, there was no significant difference in the intention of long-term service depending on whether it was a store. Finally, in the case of low store awareness, the emotional response induction compensation in the hair designers group was higher than that in the cognitive response induction compensation, but there was no significant difference in the long term service intention according to the compensation type in the staff group.
