張橫渠 生態倫理의 道德敎育的 含意

Abstract

This paper investigated the characteristic of ecology ethics revealed in neo-confucianism of Jang Hoing Ger . It consist of ecology crisis, a ecology community called an unity of heaven and human-being, and the Implication of Moral Education. The first is that as the main reasons of ecology crisis come from a human desire, human-beings try to do their best to get rid of it. By it, 太虛(great void) as ecology can keep its balance. The second is a ecology community called an unity of heaven and human-being that he tried to realize by overcoming human desire. An unity of heaven and human-being is the comprehensive expression which symbolized remarkably his cognizance about a relationship between human being and nature. The main reason why human being and nature should be a unity is because he is born by getting the great virtue of heaven and earth as the common essence. The third is to research the implication of moral education in ecology ethics of Jang Hoing Ger(張橫渠). The ecology ethics of Jang Hoing Ger(張橫渠) based on harmony, identity, reduction between universal life and individual one imply many theoretical conceptions in getting new alternatives for ecology ethics of moral education subject. There are many limits on the present moral education for ecology ethics which is tilted to practical, external, cognitive approach. The present moral education for ecology ethics focuses on the method that can induce an intergration between cognition and praxis. Jang Hoing Ger's approach shows many implications for it.
