Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate predictor variables that influence undergraduate students' digital citizenship, which is defined as Internet Political Activism, Technical Skills, Critical Perspective, Communication and Collaboration, and Local and Global Awareness. Internet use and psychological variables (i.e., Internet self-efficacy and Internet anxiety), which are recently considered important, were included into the predictor variables along with personal variables that the current literature primarily used. Using the data collected by Choi & Park (2015), descriptive, correlation, and multiple regression analyses were performed. The results indicated that socioeconomics status variables among personal variables less significantly influenced undergraduate students' digital citizenship while Internet use related variables and Internet self-efficacy significantly influenced five sub-dimensions of digital citizenship. This study will contribute to supporting the directions and contents of digital citizenship education.
