스포츠 친사회적 및 반사회적 행동 척도 타당화 검증

초록

이 연구는 스포츠 상황에서 선수들의 도덕적 행동을 평가하기 위해서 Kavussanu & Boardley(2009)가 개발한 스포츠 친사회적 및 반사회적 행동 척도(Prosocial and Antisocial Behavior in Sport Scale)가 국내 스포츠 상황에서적합하게 사용될 수 있는지에 대해 검증하였다. 이 척도는 상위개념으로 친사회적 행동 7문항과 반사회적 행동 13문항 등 총 2요인 20문항으로 구성되어 있으며, 하위개념으로 친사회적 행동은 동료에 대한 친사회적 행동(prosocial teammate) 4문항, 상대방에 대한 친사회적 행동(prosocial opponent) 3문항으로 구분되며, 반사회적 행동은 동료에대한 반사회적 행동(antisocial teammate) 5문항 그리고 상대방에 대한 반사회적 행동(antisocial opponent) 8문항 등4요인 20문항으로도 사용될 수 있도록 구성되어 있다. 척도의 타당도를 위해서 국내의 스포츠 상황에서 대학학생운동선수 254명을 대상으로 타당화 검증을 수행하였다. 연구결과, 친사회적 행동과 반사회적 행동 등의 2요인 보다는 4요인 구조(4요인 19문항)가 더 우수한 타당도를 지닌 것으로 확인되어 국내의 운동선수들에게 타당하게 사용될 수 있는것으로 밝혀졌다. 향후 이 척도는 엘리트 스포츠 상황에서 나타나는 도덕적 행동을 구체적으로 파악할 수 있으며, 이러한 도덕적 행동이 어떤 요인 및 원인에 의해서 발생하는지 유추하는 데 유용한 도구가 될 것으로 기대된다.

Abstract

The moral development throughout sport participation is an interesting issue in sport. The purpose of this study was to translate and validate the Korean version of the Prosocial and Antisocial Behavior in Sport Scale (PABSS) by Kavussanu and Boardley (2009). The PABSS consists of four factors and 20 items as follows: prosocial teammate (4 items), prosocial opponent (3 items), antisocial teammate (5 items), and antisocial opponent (8 items). For this study, two-fifty four student-athletes in a competitive sport participated in the translated questionnaire, with which the factor structure of the Korea version of PABSS was successfully confirmed with 4 factors with 19 items. This development could strengthen comprehensive knowledge on prosocial and antisocial behaviors in sport fields.
