인문적 전향의 경계로서 『주역(周易)』속 우환(憂患)의 역도(易道) 고찰 - 외재적 외경(畏敬)의 자연종교성에서 내재적 외경의 윤리종교성으로 -

Abstract

The consciousness of worriedness represents the human subject consciousness in the flow of disenchantment and clearly suggests the orientation toward rationalization and morality. However, there was a problem in the concept definition of consciousness of worriedness that was commonly used, which was immersed in dichotomous thinking that excluded emotions and was limited to consciousness. Thus, it was not possible to reveal the origin of the morality that the consciousness of worriedness aims for. Therefore, this study tried to connect the two disconnected worlds with the meaning of the boundary, and examined the way of yidao 易道 of worriedness from the holistic viewpoint of the ternary semantic structure. Worriedness belongs to humans, not gods, and yidao 易道 means the thought system of the Zhouyi 周易, so the primitive significance of yidao 易道 of worriedness from the perspective of human life can be said as weijing 畏敬 as a fearful and reverent response to the sky. As it plays an important mediating role connecting 'the sky as a source of religiosity' and 'human beings as an ethical subject', it makes it possible to consider the yidao 易道 of worriedness in the comprehensive category of the Zhouyi 周易 from external religiosity to internal ethics and emotions to consciousness. Therefore, Zhen gua 震卦, which speaks of man's original fear toward nature, was regarded as an external weijing 畏敬 that could be called the primordial moment of religiosity, and Qian gua 乾卦 san yao 三爻, which internalized the sacredness of the sky and responded ethically, was considered as an immanent weijing 畏敬. Furthermore, the flow of these two aspects in the humanistic conversion of Yizhuan 易傳 was traced, and it was manifested as a totalized order of immanent weijing 畏敬. In it, the yidao 易道 of worriedness as an emotional trigger of fear is a specific driver of conversion that awakens the inner self, an ethical trigger of the new era and a driver of truth.
