이 연구에서는 청소년 성격검사 질문지(Personality Assessment Inventory for Adolescent; PAI-A; Morey, 2007)를 한국판으로 번안하고 신뢰도와 타당도를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 유초중등통계를 근거로 전국의 중고등학생 2,223명을 유층표집 하여 자료를 수집하였고, 타당도를 알아보기 위해 한국판 PAI-A와 함께 PAI-A의 척도들과 유사한 영역을 평가하는 14가지의 준거 척도들을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 한국판 PAI-A 척도들의 내적 합치도와 검사-재검사 신뢰도는 적절한 수준으로 나타났다. 타당도를 확인하기 위해 PAI-A의 척도들과 준거 척도들 간 상관 분석을 실시한 결과, 유사한 개념을 평가하는 척도들과는 상관이 높고, 상반되는 척도들과는 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 PAI-A가 우리나라 청소년들의 심리적 문제와 성격 특성을 신뢰롭고 타당하게 평가할 수 있는 도구임을 시사한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine reliability and validity of the Korean Personality Assessment Inventory for Adolescent (K-PAI-A). Based on the educational statistics, data from 2,223 middle and high school students were collected and reliability and correlation analysis were conducted. Results indicated internal consistency and test-retest reliability of the K-PAI-A were adequate. In order to examine validity of the K-PAI-A, correlation analysis between scales of the K-PAI-A and other tools that evaluate similar areas such as personality and psychopathology. According to the correlation analysis, the convergent and discriminant validity were appropriate. These findings suggest that the K-PAI-A is a reliable and valid assessment tool for evaluating psychological problems and personality traits of adolescents.
