"전통사상과 현대 정보사회"라는 논제가 지니는 의미는 상대적이다. 사람들은 일생을 살아가는 동안 어떠한 어려운 또는 즐거운 경우들에 직면하게 된다. 이때 이런 문제들을 수용하는 방식은 보통 다음의 두 가지 방식으로 나타나게 된다. 하나는 "고정불변의 전통적 형식론(성인론)"이라는 가치 진리관이고, 다른 하나는 " 그 문제에 직면한 사람이 어떠한 상황에서 살고 있는가에 따라서 그 문제를 해결하는 방법도 '수시 변형(時中)'되어야 한다."는 가치관이다. 이 두 가지 서로 상호 반대되는 가치관은 고대에서부터 지금까지 '종교와 과학'의 논리로 논의되고 있다. 때문에 우리가 역사와 고전을 연구하는 목적은 그 상반되는 논리근거를 정확히 분석하여 바람직하지 못한 부분을 비판 제거하고, 그 긍정적인 부분을 수용하려는 것에 있다. 孔孟의 고전을 연구하는 목적도 그 내용을 불변의 진리로 확고히 하고자 함이 아니라, 그 '종교적 성인론'이 이전시대의 이념이라는 점을 명확히 비판해서 새로운 시대의 유학이론을 정립하려는 것이다. 오늘의 철학과제는 불변적 형식추구가 아니라, 주어진 상황에 맞는 적절한 해결방법을 제시하는 과정에 주안점을 두고 있다. 따라서 우리의 "현대사회와 유교"라는 연구도 이런 흐름에 맞춰 진행되어야 한다. 즉 오늘날 우리가 전통철학을 연구함은 고전을 통해 역사 속의 각 시대 상황을 정확히 분석하여 그 비합리적 근거를 비판하고, 현대 우리가 살고 있는 합리(논리)적 사유방법으로 전환하려는 것이다. 필자는 현대 조직사회에 적용될 유학사상을 공자가 말한 "군자는 변화를 따르는데, 소인은 그에 반대한다."라는 주장에 근거하여 현대와 전통사회의 차이를 지적하여 "時中이라는 變化"를 모색할 것이다.
Abstract
The subject "Traditional ideology and Contemporary society" get a contrary meanings. In a man's life, we are faced by a terrible or delight problem. At this time person receive that problems like followings. One of them is "Constant traditional formalism" and the another one is "Metamorphosis as occasion demands". This kind of contrary concepts are discussion on "religion and science logicality" from ancient times. Now we have to analyze and criticize that both meaning intend to accept the beneficial part. That is the purpose why we are studying old history and classics. Therefore we are studying 孔孟. However I'm not assert that 孔孟 is an permanent ideology. I will demonstrate a theory that 孔孟 is just an out-of-date thought and establish a new confucianism that correspond to these days. Today the main topic of a philosophy is not pursue the unchangeable form but present an advisable solution. According to we will discuss about "Traditional ideology and Contemporary society". Ideology that got an absolutism (which was the trend of the times) can't preserve it's absoluteness when it not fit in with today's thought. If the absolute concept isn't accord with current demand it just fall behind an illusion. I will apply the Confucianism to contemporary society, basis on that Confucius assertion "The wise men(君子) follows the change but the another one(小人) is against to it". I will indicate the different of current and traditional society and demonstrate a theory "The changing for the needs of the times (時中 變化)".
