墨子聖人觀硏究

Abstract

The goal of this paper is to study the saint view of Mozi(B.C. 468-376). The core of Chinese philosophy is a philosophy of life. Key topics of the philosophy of life is the ideal personality. A saint is the highest target and the final ideality of Mozi’s cultivation of personality. The spirit of Mozi's personality which is based on the people who are affirmative fully is put forward to save the society from chaos and to upright the behavior of human. Mozi as the Chinese philosopher, who shows us his distinctive personality and pioneer spirit that he stresses on the need for Universal Love(兼爱) including Valuation of justice(贵义) based on political equality, austerity(節儉) based on economic equality and war preventing(非攻) based on that life be guaranteed equality. The Ideal Society Mozi envisioned was a society where everybody loved everybody else as a family, and the principle of equality in politics and economy flourished. The Ideal society Mozi mapped out was quite similar to 'the Ideal Society of Great Harmony(大同社會). Mozi's thought, to constructing the today's "harmonious society"is also a very positive role and significance.
