현실적 존재와 공동체 기업가정신 - 과정철학의 관점 -

이 연구는 화이트헤드의 과정철학에서 핵심적 개념인 현실적 존재가 새롭게 제기되고 있는 공동체기업가정신의 개념과 어떤 관련이 있는 지를 검토했다. 기존의 기업가 정신이 개체 중심으로 전개되었다면, 오늘날은 집단기업가정신, 공동체기업가정신 등을 통해 개체 중심을 넘어 가고 있다. 우리는 이와 같은 기업가 정신의 변화에 대한 철학적 토대가 과정철학과 관련이 있다고 본다. 과정철학은 외적 관계보다는 내적 관계를 중심으로 시간이론을 전개한다. 이러한 입장은 개체보다는 개체들 사이의 관계를 우선시하는 것이다. 이 연구는 이런 논의가 기업가-되기라는 개념과 밀접한 관련이 있다는 것을 보여주며, 특히 공동체기업가정신의 전개가 화이트헤드의 철학과 밀접한 관련이 있음을 보여준다.
Abstract
In recent years, turbulent and changing environment in which firms operate has intensified. Firms would do well to encourage the talent and creativity of their employees in order to achieve success. But we are not good at thinking change or movement. Our instinctive skills favour the fixed and the static, the separate and the self-contained. Our dominant model of change in general and entrepreneurship in particular are paradoxically couched in the language of equilibrium. Therefore the aim of this paper seek to offer an alternative model of change which affords a better understanding of the inherent dynamic complexities and intrinsic indeterminacy of the concept of entrepreneurship. Adopting a process perspective on entrepreneurship, the notion of 'entrepreneuring' is introduced, this notion grasps how collaborative support for entrepreneuring may be mobilized.
