오늘날 세계는 여러 가지 문제에 직면하고 있지만, 그중에서도 환경문제가 무엇보다도 심각하다. 그리고 환경문제 중에서도 지구 가열화로 인한 기후변화 즉, 기후 위기 문제가 발생 가능성 및 파급 효과 등 여러 가지 면에서 가장 심각한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 따라서 이 글에서는 먼저 이런 기후 위기 문제의 심각성과 특성에 대해서 간략하게 살핀다. 그리고 이런 문제를 해결하기 위한 기술적 해결 및 국제 정치적 해결 등 몇 가지 노력을 비판적으로 검토한다. 그러고 나서 이런 문제는 여러 방식의 해결책들을 요구할 수 있겠지만, 무엇보다 윤리적 문제라는 것을 부각시키면서, 특히 기후변화와 같은 이른바 ‘장기적인 집합적 환경문제들’을 해결하기 위한 윤리적 접근방식을 비롯해 몇 가지 실천 방안들을 살펴본다. 그리고 그것들이 문제를 해결하기 위해 유효한지 또는 실천 가능한 것인지를 비판적으로 탐구한다. 그리고 끝으로 이러한 실천 방안들이 유효하지 않거나 실천 상의 어려움이 있거나 한계가 있다면 우리는 그런 문제를 어떻게 마주해야 하고 앞으로 고민할 문제가 있다면 어떤 것이 있을 수 있는지를 검토한다.
Abstract
Nowadays, our planet is facing various risks, but among them, environmental problems are the most serious. and among environmental problems, climate change caused by global heating, that is, the climate crisis problem, is emerging as the most serious problem in terms of the possibility of occurrence and ripple effects. Therefore, in this paper, I first briefly review the seriousness and charateristics of this climate crisis problem. And then I critically examines several efforts to address these issues, both technical and international political solutions. Although this problem requires a variety of solutions, I emphasize above all that it is an ethical problem. And I look at some practice plans, particularly including ethical practices, to address ‘longitudinal collective action environmental problems’ such as climate change. And I criticall explore whether they are valid or feasible to solve the problem. And I finally review how we should deal with such problems if these practice plans are not effective or if there are difficulties or limitations in practice. And I examine what problems we may have to consider in the future.
