The light sport aircraft category is introduced to prevent ultralight vehicle accidents. Unlike general aircraft, sport aircraft is operated by the non professionals untrained operators. Therefore,compared to the general aircraft, sport aircraft are at much higher risk because of the nature of operation. A study on the accident involving light sport aircraft and safety measures is in poor condition in korea. With the systematic analysis on risk factors of light sport aircraft that is representative of sport aircraft, the necessity of studying safety management plan is on the rise.
