The purpose of this study is to identify the grammatical aspects of ‘kactaka’ and to classify them into detailed items according to their syntactic and semantic characteristics. Through this, ‘kactaka’ was classified into three items, and a model for describing in dictionaries was proposed accordingly. Unlike ‘kaciko’, which shares the same original verb ‘kaci-’, ‘kactaka’ has not been specifically identified its grammaticalization, and therefore, most Korean dictionaries have not been given the status as a headword. However, as a result of analyzing the corpus usage case in this study, ‘kactaka’ has been divided into various aspects and grammarization has been progressed. This study is meaningful in that it has focused on the language form ‘kactaka’ that have not been noticed before, revealing its syntactic and functional features, describing aspects of grammaticalizations, and have come up with a suggestion of a model for describing in Korean dictionaries.
