본 연구는 간호대학생의 환자안전관리역량에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 본 연구는 A도 소재 2개 대학 간호학과에 재학 중이며, 현장실습을 통해 환자안전 활동을 직접 경험한 3·4학년 학생 중 연구 참여에 동의한 자를 대상으로 2025년 5월 1일부터 16일까지 시행하였다. 자료수집은 자기보고식 설문지를 사용하여 총 177명으로부터 이루어졌다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 23.0 프로그램을 활용하여 t-test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, 회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 환자안전관리역량에 영향을 미치는 요인은 환자안전 인지정도, 디지털 리터러시, 비판적 사고성향, 눈치 순으로 나타났으며, 이들 변수가 환자안전관리역량을 유의하게 설명하였다(F=21.54, p<.001, Adj. R2=.51). 본 연구는 디지털 리터러시, 비판적 사고, 눈치가 간호대학생의 환자안전관리역량을 증진하는 주요 요인임을 규명하였다. 이를 실무에 적용하기 위해 전자건강기록 기반 시뮬레이션, 비판적 사고 촉진 도구, 상황인지 중심의 시나리오 교육이 요구된다. 이러한 근거기반 교육 설계는 학생들의 임상 안전 역량 강화를 뒷받침할 것이다.
Abstract
This study aimed to identify factors influencing patient safety competence among nursing students. Data were collected from May 1 to May 16, 2025, using a convenience sample of nursing students enrolled in two nursing colleges. A self-administered questionnaire was used, and the data were analyzed with SPSS/WIN 23.0 using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and regression analysis. The results showed that patient safety awareness, digital literacy, critical thinking, and nunchi significantly influenced patient safety competence, in that order. These variables were found to significantly explain patient safety competence(F=21.54, p<.001, Adj. R2=.51). Therefore, nursing education curricula should incorporate systematic strategies to strengthen patient safety awareness, digital literacy, critical thinking, and nunchi in order to enhance nursing students’ patient safety competence.
