초록
This study evaluates the ergonomic suitability of military vehicle designs using anthropometric crew data. Conventional military vehicles are typically constrained by their limited internal space, which prevents up to 95% of personnel from embarking on or performing missions effectively. Hence, anthropometric data from MIL-STD-1472G were used and participants within the 5th/50th/95th percentile range were considered. Evaluation was conducted through a digital mock-up analysis and full-scale mock-up reviews, with emphasis on habitability, accessibility, and visibility. The results indicate that the improved design significantly enhanced habitability compared with existing vehicles, thereby contributing to better accessibility and visibility. This study provides practical ergonomic design criteria that are applicable to not only military vehicles but also to a wide range of weapon systems.
